Jonathan Greene is a highly entrepreneurial marketing leader focused on bringing the benefits of ROI-driven direct response techniques to the digital arena. He has a keen sense on how to best extend brand relationships into new media and Jonathan’s stewardship of interactive programs on behalf of such clients as Intel, VeriSign, Nextel, GMAC Mortgage, and Sun Microsystems has been recognized with more than two dozen industry awards.
He has served in a number of agency leadership roles — most recently with Modem Media and prior to that with MRM Worldwide. Prior to joining the McCann Worldgroup, Jonathan served as VP, Technology Strategy for Euro RSCG Circle. In this position he identified integrated marketing opportunities with new clients maintaining strategic account management leadership.
Prior to Circle, Jonathan was VP Interactive Marketing, of Euro RSCG Devon Direct and also served as General Manager of Devon Digital, the agency’s interactive division. He was also a member of Euro RSCG’s Global Planning Council, the network’s most awarded and experienced account planners and strategists providing for tools, knowledge, and guidance to all agencies within the Euro RSCG Worldwide network.
When he joined Devon in 1996, Jonathan spearheaded the development of the agency’s interactive capabilities and was instrumental in moving Devon Digital into its industry-leading position in the forefront of digital marketing. As a key member of Euro RSCG Devon Direct’s management team, he was responsible for managing the development of all Internet-based business activities for the agency and its clients, and led the strategic development of interactive client programs as well as agency capabilities.
Before joining Devon Digital, Jonathan was employed as the manager of industry relations for CDnow. In this capacity he was responsible for the development of strategic alliances, marketing, and sponsor advertising. He also served as project manager, coordinating the creation, scheduling, and marketing of client websites.
Jonathan has a B.A. in Comparative Literature from Hamilton College in Clinton, New York and completed an Executive Training Program at IMD Business School in Lausanne, Switzerland.
He lives in beautiful Katonah, NY with his wife, Ashley and his daughters, Hannah and Campbell.
