Thanks to this page at The Peer-to-Peer Weblog I was able to tweak my router settings for a noticeably faster Bit Torrent. I’ve noticed that transfers previously slated for days are now mere hours. Nice.

After i put the IP address in and they ask for the password. i can pass that part. is there any way to find out my password or change it. I have a netgear router and it a wgt624v2 thanks.

I don’t have any netgear equipment… but on my Dlink and Linksys stuff there’s definitely a place in the configuration to change the password from the default.
