Upload Speed: 1260 kbps (157.5 KB/sec transfer rate)

Yes - that says 24,515 kbps!!!

The addition of my Gigabit D-Link router has enabled a massive upgrade. As previously noted, it was there but being blocked by an older slower router. Thank you Cablevision!

s news bits at Atmaspheric Endeavors and was amused by his story of how he was self-capping his new Cablevision 30MB per sec downstream / 2MB per sec upstream broadband connection without even know it (orig. post,update). After brainstorming a bit, he decided to see what speeds he would get when connecting his laptop directly to his cable modem, since previously he’s was only getting less than 10MB per sec. More…
