Whoa - This looks super slick…

I wonder if MyStrands (or any other apps) can take advantage of the N95’s media keys which could seriously integrate it into your experience on the device.

    wow, thats neat!
It would even be neater, if it had a maemo port. But maybe thats in the works?

I agree - with a Maemo port I could use it across devices. Does not look like there’s a web version either unfortunately.

How much external memory will it support?

Not sure I understand what you are asking, but most of the phones can handle a 2GB card

    Woah, that phones a beast!

Have you tried comparing MyStrands to The Filter? Interested in how the two compare.

  • 6 setomax // Mar 15, 2007 at 9:46 am

I´ve just tested The Filter in my N73, and there is nothing to compare.
Social Player is much better for me, and will be for a long time…

I just received a link to the Filter and will have to check it out — certainly looks cool. I’ve only used a previous version of MyStrands and not for Symbian.

I’d love it all in one - player, streamer, recommender and socially connected.

links from Technoratiit to “show-off” or carve their own personal niche via mobile. The fact that the community aspect is added and users can see and connect with people that purchased similar will surely have a viral effect. Jonathan Greene over at Atmasphere starts his post with a Whoa - This looks super slick… Thanks Jonathan! Ricky Cadden at SymbianGuru reviewed MyStrands, pointing out one of our favourite features: helping those with massive libraries rediscover their own music.
