WordPress updated to 2.1.2. Kind of a pain and scary to delete everything, but it’s all back online now and hopefully something I don’t have to do for a long time.
And we’re back…

oh man i’m still afraid of updating thenokiablog.com from 2.04 to 2.1.2. I’ll wait until after the N95 releases. I don’t want my pricecheck pages to break and lose possible $$$.

Yeah - it was heart pounding actually… I’ve got posts back to 2002!
I downloaded my whole site through FTP - did a second backup with the database and then used a fresh copy of my theme to make my adjustments (tracking tags, feed urls etc) and took a deep breath. The worst part was actually deleting my entire WP file structure on the server… uploading it back was painless though and the upgrade script ran within a few seconds.
