I just arrived home with my new Nokia N800…paired with my Nokia N73 and online within about two minutes. My home wireless network is just out of range as I am just sitting in the car outside while Hannah sleeps — it’s too cold to let her sit in the car off and we did not want risk a stroller transfer.
If you have kids, I’m sure you can understand…
In the first few moments I am VERY pleased with this upgrade. The N800 has a better build quality than the 770 and feels great in my hand. I like the included camera for video chat among other enhancements like better memory management and peppier processor.
More to follow…
Congratulations with the new toy!
Thanks! I highly recommend it if you are considering…
So I own a Nokia 770 and I love it, I have looked to the 800 but I am throw back by some things. I appreciate the processor upgrade as well as the dual SD. However, I am not so sure of the new design, it looks slick but contrary to what apple fans might think of. Looks is NOT everything.
I like that my N770 had this protective case, it helped keep my screen a lil less scratched. But this new one screams pain on the display.
What you think? What you do to avoid this?
I have watched a lot of videos on my n770 and I have come to appreciate a unscratched screen.
I am concerned about the screen as well – the sleeve is not the hard case you get with the 770… There are screen protectors you can buy to cover it and keep it clear and clean.
