Hard to believe this has only recently become available but it’s true… 3rd party apps can finally offer lockscreen control. Think this is a 4.2 thing add it is not yet available on my Note II which is running 4.1.2. Hopefully to be updated soon… Officially. Thanks to @wubbahed for the wake-up call.
