I was having trouble updating to the current rev of Shozu, as mentioned earlier but was finally successful last night after considerable effort. Turns out, there was an issue with security and former references to Shozu on my memory card. The bad news – I had to reformat the card. The good news – Shozu is back in action on my Nokia N73.
With the new release. Shozu supports Geo-tagging via GPS which is very cool. Now when I snap a pic with my GPS nearby, Shozu automatically adds location data, which is then in turn automatically read by Flickr, which reads the Geo data and adds my pics to the map as they are uploaded. For a mobile blogger, this is super cool.

is this GPS Tagging supported in anything besides flickr?
I’ve tried emailing as the option for shozu, but no dice. I was hoping it would add it to the exif tags, but it looks like it does it some other way..
No idea – I don’t think YouTube and Blip can do anything with the info anyway… no mapping.

GPS tagging is done via a standard tag (like a standard search tag on Flickr, YouTube, etc). We can essentially attach this information to any of our destinations, but at the moment only a few sites support tags. These are Flickr, YouTube, Buzznet, Dada.net, moblogUK, Pikeo and Textamerica. So you’ll be able to send GPS info to any of these, but at the moment Flickr is the only one with a really good mapping feature.
