I like my N73 way too much to chance this. Firmware updates are already hairy enough with warnings like don’t touch the phone or cable at the risk of bricking your phone. I already have one bricked device and it’s enough for me.
i would like to know where i could download the latest nokia software update for n73 coz i want to make my n73 to music edition….
coz thelink given on the site cant connect to the server…

Followed all instructions given and changed the product code to 0539343 successfully. However, I could not upgrade my N-73 to Music Editon. (Using Nokia Software Updater Latest Version)
Since product code is changed, now this handset is out of warranty and I could not get anything… eigher this trick is not at all workable.. or some key informations are missing.
Thus ther is not point in trying this trick as it may leads to a damaged handset.
If anybody knows this trick in details please let me know. I have tried this for at least 12 times and suppose myself a very lucky person that still my handset is working fine (Pure Nokia 73 only)
