Does anyone know if it’s possible to use the video calling feature of Nokia’s N-Series phones for calls over wifi? I can’t figure it out but think it would be a great way to do enhanced VOIP chat… similar to what the N800 can do, but using the N80 or N93…
I was thinking initially that Fring might be able to do it with one of their supported services (GTalk, Skype and MSN) but don’t see the option…
Any other thoughts here?

Its not currently possible with fring, but if you check out their forums, its heavily requested, and i believe on their todo list.

Thanks for the tip. I am beginning to think it is not currently possible. I wonder if there is a way for an app to tap the camera though outside of a 3G call. Hope fring works it out!

Video Calls On The N80 Internet Edition…
Jonathan Greene wants to be a video star on his N80 Internet Edition, which has the capacity to make video calls, but only on UMTS 2100 networks. Sorry, JG, but the service won’t work in the USA as UMTS in the USA isn’t exactly the same as it is else…
