The ultimate netbook?

I was quite pleased to see Sascha show his NC10 and confirm my own purchase decision.  Seems he agrees that the Samsung NC10 remains the current king and that battery and keyboard are the two features which strongly contribute to a solid mobile experience.  I have to keep reminding myself that I don’t have to be conservative with my use or consider when I’ll next top up with this computer which truly is a first for me.

This video from Scoble is a great capture of a conversation on Netbooks, Vista, XP licensing and the Sony Vaio P – well worth the 10 minutes.

  1. Saw this video about an hour ago very insightful, I fancy a lot the Dell Mini 12 and the MSI U115 due to their size being somewhat larger but really talking these are more subnotebooks than netbooks, I travel a lot but my hands are quite big and using small netbooks is kinda hard or ackward for me so I stick with subnotebooks.

I was meaning to ask you currently your nokia n810 what role does it play on your daily life are you still using it since you got your netbook and since you also have an E71 like myself which is a quite powerful device for accessing data on the go.

  2. I was using the N810 as a video player along with some light web / rss when on the go, but it's been staying in my gear bag with the netbook the past week +. The Samsung NC10 really kicks ass – I'm getting over 7 hours of online battery life which is amazing. Watching video or working on an airplane tray table is not a straining exercise and my hands are pretty large as well. I tried other netbooks briefly in a store before deciding on this one and the keyboard really makes a huge difference.
